Penang Hill Conquered!!

Warning: Many pictures ahead! (i'm letting the pictures to do most of the talking)

On the first day of raya this year, I joined the Frontliners(youth group) of RGBC (Resovoir Garden Baptist Church) to climb to the top of the Penang Hill. WooHoooooo! Penang Hill, here I come!!

There are many ways to Penang Hill. We used the Air Itam side.

In the midway, we had a break. Then I saw a three-legged dog. Poor little thing...
Then we continued...

...until we reached 457.2M above sea level where we saw the train

A helping hand

This part of the journey is challenging..requires one to climb up with the rope..without the rope, one can't go up..it'll be very difficult.

Aching!!

Yesterday had a good time playing badminton with Chef, Deb, Tiara, and Wendy...but next morning, I found myself aching from my whole right hand all the way to my shoulder! Even my right leg also ache..sigh...then, early this morning at 7.30am, went to Botanical Garden with dad..it was raining...we use the umbrella and walk one round. Unfortunately, I wore a jeans, so, it was soaking wet from knee below...then go Gurney Plaza and had a good breakfast at Coffee Bean..weeeeeeee~unexpectedly, my dad went to Switch and bought a Mac Mini...and now he had installed it....

On the Road

Pretty much of an experience..experienced while i was driving with pedestrian who wanted to cross the road....

Yesterday, I was driving with Ruth, heading to college. While I was on Yeap Chor Yee road near Island Glades, heading Greenlane, it was quite jam. So, there is a yellow box to indicate that no cars are allowed to wait there as it is a junction. It so happen that I saw an old man in a blue raincoat with his four-legged steel tongkat trying to cross the road. When I almost reach the yellow box, I stopped behind it, and this old man walking at his own pace, crosses in front of me with his thumbs up! Then when he reached to the other end of the road, he put his thumbs up again. Ruth and I who was in the car was laughing away! He looked very funny with the way he walk and how he put his thumbs up. That day I felt that I did something good..hehehe...

However...today in the evening after class...I almost bang a little boy(around 5 years old) opposite the BJ Kompleks bus stop! Again, I was with Ruth. This little boy was pulling his mom's hand and was walking very fast...I'm glad I stopped in time....whow..scary...

Time Machine-2001

Phew....finally i found the initiative to actually complete Wendy's tag on me on this topic. It took me a few days to actually ponder and really think what to write about for the year/date I had chosen. Well, basically this tag requires one to state which time line that he/she wanted to go back...like "Back to the Future" kind of thing...so, as for me, I chose 2001...

Why 2001?
First, it's because of my first venture into secondary school - new subjects, new school, new people, new environment..it's that kind of 'new' feeling...
Second, I'm like a white sheet of paper, being painted by others (friends, teachers, family), so I believe that my character, attitude, mind sets are crafted and designed here (the basics).
Third, form 1 is the first stepping stone into becoming an adult...so, the foundation that is laid in my life must be profitable.

How I was like when I was in 2001
First, I was quite a quiet girl who likes to keep to herself
Second, not a really up-to-date fashion person - wears mostly T-shirt, long pants, and sports shoe
Short hair

What I did in 2001
Start learning the piano, but I only owned a keyboard at that time...no piano
Study quite hard
Very homey person
Went to Youth Camp at Cameron Highlands at the end of the year. The theme was "Revival". The topic spoken was about BGR. So, that's my first BGR lesson..hehehe

What I got in 2001
You might laugh but I was given a certificate in my class at the end of the year for being 'the most quiet girl in class'.

What I think that I should have done in 2001
Join youth meeting in church - I felt that I was left out
Mix around more - I don't have much friends at that time
Went to Doulos - a big ship whereby Christian literatures are sold. It also recruits volunteers. This ship travels around the world and only drop by at the Weld Quay every few years.

So, I wish I could go back 2001 to change my style and not being so quiet XD
I think that this year is an important year for me as it is the base for every other things...
Overall, it was a peaceful year for me cuz there were no extraordinary happenings on me...

After CF, this time, photo communication class requires me to take 5 photos that would describe an adjective word such as the word beautiful must take 5 photos that are considered beautiful. As for me, I took the word black. So, anything that I come across that is black has no escape from me....hehheheheh....

It's amazing that on that day, most of my classmates wearing black tops and also their belongings such as laptop bags are black too. But first...

I wore black also on that day, so, it kind of gave me the idea to search for things in black.
