Gua Tempurung II

I finally found the interest to continue blogging about this trip..somehow feel so lazy to update more constant..hehe..

A beautiful picture taken by my dad..yes he loves photography..

Nice gate

More pics from my dad

This one too

Then into the cave we went:

A skull-like face on the cave's wall

The place is so dark that you need to flash torch light to get your things from the bag pack
Thanks to camera flash too.

Sticker on my shirt: GT aka Gua Tempurung/Green Tea?

The Phoon family

Good friends: Jabez + Daniel

This is the part where we slide down. Not as scary as I thought..

Another challenge is to go through this hole. There was a tour guide beneath supporting the rest when going through it.
After this hole was where we started to get wet, starting with our shoes.
Throughout the whole caving experience, we had to depend on our torchlights and especially we needed each other so that we won't get lost. Traveling through a cave enables me to admire God's creation, especially when I saw big, smooth and beautiful white marbles right in front of my eyes.
There are also stalagmites, so most of the time we had to bend down to go through it. It's more challenging where we had to crawl through water to avoid those pointed stalagmites.

In the darkness of the cave, we finally saw a small light from within. We headed for the light and we discovered a beautiful place.

So we snapped photos:

Groupie

It may be nice and all, but the trip has not ended yet. We were only at another end of the cave. We had to hike back to headquaters.
Then there we go again. Darkness with the help of torchlight to lighten things up. Not forgetting we were hungry, exhausted and wet.

Nevertheless, we made it through. And we snapped photos of victory!

This is another kind of level. This way is the less challenging (could be boring) than the level we took.

Okay, I don't know what they're suppose to be.

Click the play button!

This is the real end. Pretty isn't it?

And then, next stop...FOOOD!

When we first arrived, the table was not cleaned yet. We waited quite some time. All were tired and hungry. Check out the video!

and then..finally! The food is ready.

We stopped by a restaurant in Kampar for their famous delicacy: Chicken wrapped with a big piece of bread. We ordered two types of flavours, one is herbs another is spicy.

Noodles everyone!

Happy faces after a hearty meal.

A candid shot when Dennis was listening intently to someone talking.

So sorry I had to end this post abruptedly cuz I gotta go to work. Caoz..
