Mirror mirror on the Car...

As usual, I came down from my apartment to get my car and to set out to college but just to find that the Iswara has gone mirror-less on the right side which is the most vital car parts especially when you're driving!

It happened when Ruth drove the car to Sg. Petani on Sunday evening for a party. See her blog for details.

A closer look at it. As you can see, the internal plastic in the middle had broken, so, that explains why.

How to see behind from my right side? Very difficult for me to potong kereta lah!
All I can do is to rely on my back mirror (glad that the back mirror is wide, even blind spot also can see).

Finally, my masterpiece:

The colour pens used are courtesy of Wendy. Don't worry yea Wendy, I didn't finish your ink!

Do You Know?

I adopted this information from a friend of mine who sent me to my hotmail and I find this information to be helpful, so I'm sharing this to you.

BRAIN DAMAGING HABITS

1. No Breakfast
People who do not take breakfast are going to have a lower blood sugar level.
This leads to an insufficient supply of nutrients to the brain causing brain degeneration.

2. Overeating
It causes hardening of the brain arteries, leading to a decrease in mental power.

3. Smoking
It causes multiple brain shrinkage and may lead to Alzheimer disease.

4. High Sugar consumption
Too much sugar will interrupt the absorption of proteins and nutrients causing
malnutrition and may interfere with brain development.

5. Air Pollution
The brain is the largest oxygen consumer in our body. Inhaling polluted air
decreases the supply of oxygen to the brain, bringing about a decrease in brain
efficiency.

6. Sleep Deprivation
Sleep allows our brain to rest. Long term deprivation from sleep will accelerate the
death of brain cells.

7. Head covered while sleeping
Sleeping with the head covered, increases the concentration of carbon dioxide and
decrease concentration of oxygen that may lead to brain damaging effects.

8. Working your brain during illness
Working hard or studying with sickness may lead to a decrease in effectiveness of
the brain as well as damage the brain.

9. Lacking in stimulating thoughts
Thinking is the best way to train our brain, lacking in brain stimulation thoughts may
cause brain shrinkage.

10. Talking Rarely
Intellectual conversations will promote the efficiency of the brain.

***********************************************
The main causes of liver damage are:

1. Sleeping too late and waking up too late are main cause.
2. Not urinating in the morning.
3. Too much eating.
4. Skipping breakfast.
5. Consuming too much medication.
6. Consuming too much preservatives, additives, food coloring , and artificial sweetener.
7. Consuming unhealthy cooking oil. As much as possible reduce cooking oil use when frying, which includes even the best cooking oils like olive oil.
Do not consume fried foods when you are tired, except if the body is very fit.
8. Consuming raw (overly done)
Foods also add to the burden of liver.
Veggies should be eaten raw or cooked 3-5 parts. Fried veggies should be finished in one sitting, do not store.

We should prevent this without necessarily spending more. We just have to adopt a good daily lifestyle and eating habits. Maintaining good eating habits and time condition are very important for our bodies to absorb and get rid of unnecessary
chemicals according to 'schedule.'

Because :

Evening at 9 - 11 PM : is the time for eliminating unnecessary/toxic chemicals
(detoxification) from the antibody system (lymph nodes). This time duration should be spent by relaxing or listening to music. If during this time a housewife is still in an unrelaxed state such as washing the dishes or monitoring children doing their
homework, this will have a negative impact on health.

Evening at 11pm - 1 am : is the detoxification process in the liver, and ideally should be done in a deep sleep state.

Early morning 1 - 3 am : detoxification process in the gall, also ideally done in a deep sleep state.

Early morning 3 - 5 am :
detoxification in the lungs. Therefore there will sometimes be
a severe cough for cough sufferers during this time. Since the detoxification process
had reached the respiratory tract, there is no need to take cough medicine so as not to interfere with toxin removal process.

Morning 5 - 7am :
detoxification in the colon, you should empty your bowel.

Morning 7 - 9 am : absorption of nutrients in the small intestine, you should be having breakfast at this time. Breakfast should be earlier, before 6:30 am , for those who are
sick. Breakfast before 7:30 am is very beneficial to those wanting to stay fit. Those who always skip breakfast, they should change their habits, and it is still better to
eat breakfast late until 9 - 10 am rather than no meal at all.

Sleeping so late and waking up too late will disrupt the process of removing unnecessary chemicals. Aside from that, midnight to 4:00 am is the time when the bone marrow
produces blood. Therefore, have a good sleep and don't sleep late.

These Days

Hi guys. This time i'm gonna post a wordy one rather than so many pictures as in my previous posts. I hardly ever have a wordy one, so this is a little change from the usual. I'm trying to avoid myself to fully depend on pictures to blog and try using more words to describe myself.

Well, recruitment day is over, and more college classes to attend, and what more, mid term is next Monday! So soon! And I haven't officially been doing my revision although I planned to. Therefore, my motto is always "If you fail to plan, you plan to fail". This motto is so real and it applies to everything that we do daily.

Class is not as interesting as what it seems. There are cliques everywhere and finally I find myself wondering to another world, most of the time quieten myself down. So, I ended up playing Snake from my 2100 Nokia handphone...hehe...

I dunno la, I just find that I'm vulnerable and are neutral to most things. Recently, my thoughts are always thinking about the Law of Attraction. Heard of it before? Basically, it's concept is you are what you think you are. It's a way of attracting either negative or positive manifestation to your life, and it has to begin with what the person is thinking and feeling, and also on what things that the person is focus on. A simple example, if you think that you're poor and is always in debt, the law of attraction will cause it to happen exactly what you thought about, which is a negative statement. If otherwise, then you'll get a positive results. You can actually find a lot of books about this concept. In my opinion, this law of attraction is in a way making yourself god as you are in control of your own life's fate. However, I'm still trying to read more about this and tell you more, and whatever I state here are merely opinion.

Let me tell you something funny. Just now I went to chinese hawker food with my family. My dad ordered Char koay teow and thought that it was nice. I tried it, and I said that it's a bit char huei ta (overburned). Then, after eating the main meal, Ruth thought of ordering the Char koay teow again cuz she actually liked it. So we get Rachel to order it. After ordering it, she came back laughing to herself. All of us are curious. Then she said that she did not said Char koay teow, but instead, she called char huei ta! All of us laugh. It's so funny can.

Alright, I gotta go now, and there are so many things which I wanna say, but I'll save it for tomorrow. *Yawns* . Moreover, I need to get up early tomorrow to join Wendy for Dim Sum before our 9am class, so adieus! Ja!

Recruitement day @ KDU Penang

Joshua & Seong Peng

Ok..erm..what are these two guys doing? Both are like ignoring the camera person! Ish....!

Janine & Alexander

You might be wondering who are these people in the pictures above...

Alright, they are taking care of the club booth (Christian Fellowship a.k.a. CF) @ KDU Penang. President sit on the most right(Janine) and Vice President on the second from right (Alexander).

The sign up list

Goofing around

Then here comes those who are keen to sign up our booth:

They are still considering

And they signed up =]

Me teaching her guitar. She's a fast learner.

Nice pose, Janine..

Joshua gone blur whilst the guitar is being snatched! Guess who's snatching it? hahaha

"What are you looking at?"

The person on the most right is Benjamin. He's good at secretary work. He said that he always ended up being a secretary in most clubs that he joined.

Our usual meeting is on every Tuesday 1 to 2 pm., meeting at Drama room, 4th floor, near room 402. What we usually do in our meeting are icebreaker(light and easy game to break the ice!), singing songs of praise to God, share and encourage each other, prayer, and fellowship. You get to make friends from different courses and from different churches. Those interested, you may contact me (see sidebar).

CF is not only for Christians. Anybody also could join. =]

A Little Gathering

(on 10th Jan, Awal Muharam)

Nice place, isn't it? I'm actually at a fishing village near the industrial area, which is a little further from Queensbay.

Gathering whatever I learn from Photo Communication class and what I learnt from my dad, these are my masterpiece =]

Actually, I came here for a little gathering with Joshua Yam and...

Dennis is a former mass communication student from KDU Penang. He helped me a lot in advising me stuff. =D

Then, here comes the funny Joshua...hehehe....who is an engineering student. He's not the nerd type, and he's good at emcee-ing events. The last time I saw him Emcee is during a Korean Cultural presentation.

Having hard time choosing food from the menu (My first time to step in there)

There, they serve ikan bakar, udang & sotong, fried rice that is fried in different ways such as nasi goreng daging, nasi goreng papric, etc. Basically, it's a malay cuisine.

However, the ironic is, both of them don't eat seafood...swt...

Here's a bonus picture:

One funny thing about Joshua is that, after we finished eating, he excused himself to toilet, and he came back very fast, unexpectedly (the toilet was quite far away). Then when Dennis and I was ready to pay, Joshua said he paid already. Then only we realized that he did not went to the toilet, but he secretly paid....lol...

PS: I really wanna thank you both for treating me like a lady =D
Thanks Dennis for the transportation, and Joshua for the treating =D
